I just picked up this tv in a 42 inch. If you get A HDTV from bestbuy or futureshop they give u an hdtv deal!
Here is a link to a 50 inch LCD projection Hitachi. $2500, good deal in my opinion

well the one i bought was the 42 inch, not the 50inch one that is on sale right now. I bought it at futureshop and got 10 months free of Rogers HDTV. If you try to bargain wiht futureshop, the most you can get is probably 2-3% off the total since they make %5 commission on electronics (i think..)

This past Saturday I got the Hitachi Ultravision 50V500A LCD projection that retails at Futurehshop and BestBuy for $2999.99 (sale $2499.99) for $1570.00. It comes with a normal manufacturers warranty and as always you can buy extended warranty from Sears if you want.
There are 2 Sears "outlets" on Queen Street. The "Clearance" centre is at the south/west corner of Hwy 410 and Queen Street and the "Liquidation" centre is about 1km west also on the south side of Queen Street beside a Stitches/Fairweather outlet.
They have alot of CRT TV's that don't move as most people are looking for the bigger sets so you could likley talk them down in price even during the week.
