thinking of buying a cell phone on Boxing day
i am a casual cell phone user, just for emergency, so prepaid seems way to go.

Dec 26th, 2005 12:32 AM #3Virgin is pretty good for casual user with 4 month expiry on airtime. Can get the 8910 camera phone for $99.00 at BB or FS. Other phones are even cheaper, like the hot box for $69 (or $59 at SDM). Make sure you find someone to give you a referral bonus if you buy one. An even better deal if you're not going to use your phone at all except in emergencies is probably the 7-eleven prepaid (search for the thread) which has a one-year expiry on air time. Don't think there are any boxing day/week deals for that though.
