LF: Center channel speaker

Hi, I'm looking for a center channel speaker.
I've seen nice Sony and Yamaha models on ebay but the shipping just kills it.
Not really interested in compact speakers ( bose and such).

well if you're in my position a few weeks back and you blew your centre channel and just want a quick/cheap replacement. I'd try the source by CC... two options, one is the pure acoustics center, and the other the centrios.

This is ofcourse if you want to go on the cheap, both of these speakers are below $100 (30 for the centrios, 50 for pure acoustics). I went with the centrios cause I couldnt find the PA one anywhere, and it wound up matching my speakers impedance luckly (4ohms not listed online either, had to tear open a box in store to find out). Also the sound is just short of being ok... it gets the job done and lets me play games in surround sound lol.

I also opted for the warranty, if it blows again, its a straight replacement (i expect it to lol... many times).

Anyway make sure the impedance on the new one matches your old one (and if you blew the speaker, make sure your amp and speakers are compatible).
