I had my side door (no sidelites) done by HomeDepot. They beat the quote from contractors in my local area. They also beat out RONA by about $1000 -- no joke.
They even installed it in the middle of the winter and did a really good job.

LF - Entrance Door/Frame Prices
HI all,
Besides going to the Home Show and getting fleeced with overpriced quotes from Salespeople ... who insisted in coming to my home to measure - when in fact I had the measurements of 52 X 84 ...
Anyone had any good reasonable prices of an entrance door installed and the company?
Example: One sidelite and a Executive Door (preferably Tru Tech)
Thanks

I've herd that some door installers charge the price of the door, installation, plus the cost for a second door. Just in case it needs to be replaced. True or not, I don't know. It kinda make sense to me. I see it this way, if they are to install a 2K door (which I've done) and only make a profit of 300 dollars but they damage the door while installing it (like breaking thet glass), then they have to replace the door at a cost of 1700 dollars to them. So by charging a lot they still get a profit in the end.
