IIRC, last year they had their membershp discounted (with a mail out/ campaign coupon) for $25. Haven't seen that around this year.

If you sign up at Costco, you have 365 days to evalute being a member. If you don't like it, they will refund your membership fee.

You can have someone refer you and you and the referal will get $10 credit. Then if you sign up for American Express credit card (since that's the only cc they take) you get another $10 for yourself. So $30 for one year isn't so, so bad.

Any american express will do... I use AE airmiles card..
