I'm running an 800W PSU, but my system doesn't drain any more than 500W under load, probably considerably less than that on average. So, 800VA for the UPS would be good. However, it needs to be able to let me run on battery power for at least one hour with a load of 300-400W.

Hell, if you have one for sale, I'd even look into that.
