I got a Garmin Streetpilot I5 for $40 bucks if ya want...
it comes with the GPS unit, Car Adapter, and Car mount...works great!

I'm still looking for a GPS to rent or to buy and return myself when I get back from the USA. Just need something that can give me voice commands so I don't get lost going across the border!

Go for the Garmin 350. It is $199 at Costco.ca .
It says out the street names (TTS) and it is a great little unit. Available online only I believe.
