LF : Gym offer (Preferably Good life) or transfer
I am shopping around for a Gym membership right now, and if anyone knows any good promotions going on right now, please let me know.
Goodlife seems to have gone insane with their prices now. ($35 bi weekly!!)
that's $35 x 26 x 1.14 = $1037 ... too pricey ... plus, they are not willing to negotiate at all. when I was speaking with them, I got the "take it or leave it" attitude ..
I need something in central mississauga, (within a max 10 min drive from square one)
the only one reasonably priced i found is Premier, but I've read enough about them here to be cautious with automatic payments.
McFit is cheap, however a little far for me. So, any other reasonable suggestions?
I personally think, anything over $500 a year is expensive.
Alternatively, anyone looking to get out of a contract? ... maybe we can help each other out .._______________
^my two cents^

There is definitely a Gold's gym in Mississauga. Its on Cawthra and Dundas. You can sign up for 3 month, 6 month and 1 year denominations. I got quoted 200 for 6 months. I am pretty sure you can get 1 year for under 400. They have excellent cardio equipment (personal lcds for almsot every machine with tv). Lots and lots of free weights. My only 2 beefs with the gym is that the ab equipment sucks and that the gym istelf is a warehouse(no windows), but they do open the big metal door where trucks can unload stuff. The gym is going to have some great potential considering they are implementing half a basketball court and some beach volleyball with actual sand. Hope this helps!
