LF: HD Netbook; HDMI 10"+ like Asus N10J <$600 tx included
So I'm looking for an HD video capable Netbook that can do light gaming or older games like F.E.A.R., C&C Generals, etc. I require HDMI out and 10" or larger screen. I really like those Asus N10J line as it has both an nVidia 9300M GS & integrated Intel graphic chips but I prefer to spend $600 or less after taxes but I'll go up if the features are worth it.
If anyone can provide some currently available options/alternatives and also some other models of N10J; I've only seen what I believe is the N10J-A1 at staples and the N10J-A2 at NCIX, I'd like to see those too.
An example is this sold out model at staples for $400 http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/ca...xedCode=WW&=&=

I don't have time right now to check all of the notebooks but the best price I can find on the N10Jh is at onhop.

Same with the F6VE:

Did you change your requirements? More than half the lapttops you updated your list with cost well over $600 and are not netbooks by an stretch of the definition.

you're right Hello- I'm open to increasing my budget, if necessary, for notebooks that have a drastically superior video card to the 9300M GS.
Thanks saltyvinegar, seems the F6Ve is sold out now, the N10Jh I'll keep in mind but I don't feel comfortable paying twice the price just to get XPP as a bonus on top of all the same things included in the regular N10J that staples sells for $400-$600, At $800 I'd rather go with an N20A and get an actual HD video chip and optical drive in a 12" netbook.

Well if you can wait a couple weeks longer..you may want to consider netbooks that feature the NVIDIA ION chipset (Geforce 9400M).
Lenovo S12 should be the first model widely available with this graphics card...but its taking longer than expected. I'm still waiting
EDIT:
Apparently it may NOT be released until when Windows 7 lanches..so late October. BOO!

I've been hoping for one of those, problem is I couldn't find a model that has HDMI. I havn't been able to view features on any specific models. Only the spects tha tthe chipset is capable of but not what will be applied to any specific models. http://www.nvidia.com/object/picoato...fications.html and these specs look like desktop forms not the laptop form.

Atom + GF9300 is probably better for gaming than C2S + GMA 4500.

I still prefer something a lot closer to 10" for ease of portability but I'll keep this unit in mind. Good 2nd best alternative for the price. Wow I would have thought it'd come with an optical drive at $700 lol oh well I'll still consider it since it's HD video capable graphics and HDMI port. Another interesting thing on NCIX the smaller the screen on this line the higher the price. The 12" is $1300 on NCIX lol.
amourek that statement might not be true because the atom based laptops all use DDR2 and these C2S use DDR3 also atoms are 400/533MHz bus and C2S seem to be 800MHz bus. Big advantage to the C2S.
