It's a good monitor, but 19" is too big for my sis.. otherwise, I'll get too jelous : ) (I have 19" ViewSonic CRT)

Are these monitors that you can find in stores in Toronto for under $300 with 16ms refresh rate good enough for regular use (and NO gaming, well maybe some minor gaming like civilizaiton or Baldur's Gate)?

I was advised by a good source to NOT buy any LCD for a few months as a 'new' tech will be released to public soon and cause prices to drop signifigantly. I was looking myself, now i'm just waiting.

is that BenQ FP531.. really having 25ms responce time? that's 40Hz

I believe you're referring to OLEDs. Chances are they won't be released until at least 3rd quarter (fall). If that's fine with you, I'd wait it out.. Originally Posted by mydnyte
