I believe you're referring to OLEDs. Chances are they won't be released until at least 3rd quarter (fall). If that's fine with you, I'd wait it out..

However keep in mind if the technology works well, OLEDs will be superior to LCDs in nearly every aspect.

New technology is always expensive, so you'll probably wait much longer than that.

it's fps not Hz, LCDs don't have refresh rates.

so 25ms is 40fps, rather than Hz

If you are saying that you couldn't stand 16ms 17" because of motion bloor, then probably 25ms would be much worse...


I would like to compare it to something.
I have Toshiba Satellite Pro 6000 laptop with 15" at work. It's great. I am just wondering whether 15" 25ms monitor would be equivalent or better than that.

NCIX has 15" ones on for ~$169...

Could you please link to it? I've looked there couple of days ago and didn't find anything in that price range.
