no thats a freakin awesome price.. i have the 5500 and they sound damn nice.. i can't even turn up a LITTLE without someone pounding on the walls in the apartment lol.. And when you do turn it up even half way its LOUD and not an ounce of distortion

Only thing that suck with logitechs is the bass. If you want no bass its still there. its a boomy type of car bass. Nothing for a Audiophile.

I sugguest you go with some real bookshelf speakers and a sub+ recevier it will beat any computer speakers. Even if you can just pick up a used receiver, and 4 bookshelf speakers now, you can always add a sub and center later. I really don't understand how I survived with mid range comp speakers for so many years. They are good to cover up how awful mp3's truely sound though. Just my advice if you want a long term solution that will last for 10-20 years.
