LF: A place where I can get extra holes punched into a belt

Hello RFD'ers,

As my title states, I am looking for a professional who can put an extra hole into my Louis Vuitton belt as I have lost some weight and the belt doesn't seem to fit me anymore.

Preferably looking for a place in the downtown core close to queen and university or a place by bathurst and steeles.

If anyone can help out, please post a reply in the thread.
Thanks.

There's a korean shoe repair guy @ sheppard centre (Yonge & sheppard), it will be 20$ and a very professional job.

Go to Canadian Tire and buy a leather hole puncher for a few bucks. It has a rotating head with at least 6 sized holes.

Will anybody besides the OP know it is a LV belt? Or better yet will anybody care?

I think the point is he knows and probably won't want to risk using his own to punch holes in it. Not really an issue of whether someone else knows or cares.

I'd care because the belt cost $492 taxes in, don't want to risk ruining it.
Yet, if I ever sold this belt here on RFD or other forums, people would care due to damage if anything.

Anyways, thanks to those who didn't give smart ass comments.
I would of purchased the 6 sz puncher from canadian tire if this was any other belt.

Would Louis Vuitton services be able to provide this? Might have to do some digging and finding the place to send it off to. Might be flagship store, not sure.

I would recommend a rusty nail and the bottom of your shoe to hammer it in.

I never have this problem, if my belt is too big, I just trim a piece off the twine.

In all seriousness, if you can afford to buy a $500 belt, why not go buy a different belt for another couple hundred bucks that fits properly. Even another designer one like Paul Smith would only be $100+.

If you concerned about selling this later, no serious buyer or collector is going to want it after it has been changed from its original state. Whether or not LV does the work.

I don't think you are going to get any takers on a used $500 belt on RFD.

This thread makes my head spin.

1) Belts that cost $500
2) Paying someone $20 to punch a hole in a belt

OP - I would suggest you go to LV and ask them to put a new whole in for you for free. You paid $500 for it. It's the least they can do.
