LF: PowerJolt iPod Car Charger

I'm looking to buy a PoweJolt iPod Car Charger. This has to be compatible with iPod Video. Does not have to be BNIB but it has to be in good condition and working perfectly. Has to inlcude the USB Cable that comes with it when you buy it. A picture of what i want is below

Wouldn't recommend using these very simple power converters. IPods are pretty expensive and lots of people have fried theirs using these types of converters because the 12V cigarette lighter in your car isn't always stable.

Just read the reviews on apple.com about the different car 12V to 5V USB power converters. If you're fine with this, there's a few selling here on RFD, different brands, and a lot cheaper.

I would recommend either just buying a good power inverter that has USB output or if you have a wall power adapter, get a regular power inverter and use both. They're somewhat bigger, but they also have breaker circuits that make sure you don't fry anything. I personally use the Xantrex XPower 100 that has USB for mine, was $40 at CanadianTire, now I think its $50.

Funny thing is last week i did infact fry my ipod using a charger that was apparently not compatible with my ipod video...went to apple and they gave me a brand new one, no questions asked...so i thought maybe buying a apple/ipod certified product that i would be safe, but now i'm thinking it may not be worth it...

Whether or not it has an Apple name on it, it could still fry your iPod. Check their website and read the user reviews and you can see that pretty much 75% of the chargers fried people's iPods.

Oh serioulsy, i did not know that...i thought it was because i buoght a no name brand...hmmm...yeah, ok forget it, i'm not going to bother then, don't want to have to go back to the apple store again and get another one. thanks for the info...
