could you be more specific on what plans are better? i would like to be in the know because i thought the current plan i was on from rogers was one of their better deals. however, their reception really sucks compared to Bell. i currently have a plan of 200weekday/free weeknights 6pm to 8am/ free weekends/caller id/basic voicemail/conference calling/call forwarding and detailed billing for $26/month. its 20$ if u dont want the weeknights.
i dont know if i'd be willing to switch to Bell due to their phones looking like something that fell into the toilet after i take a dump. but i'd like to know what kind of rates we're talking about here. the current equivalent my company is offered from Bell is a plan for $35/month with evenings starting at 8pm.

the plan you have is basically what im looking for...is this a corporate plan? if not, please let me know how you got it as there's nothing like this available that i'm aware of...
regarding bad reception, are you referring to poor phone receiver performance in certain areas (eg. in-building) or poor coverage everywhere which again could be due to your phone hardware or network coverage? I believe the rogers network in the GTA uses the 850MHz band (someone please confirm) so if you don't have a 'quad-band' phone that utilizes those frequencies, you may be experiencing poor network coverage due to that....also, which phone are you using? the receiver performance of the phone is a factor of course and they're all significantly different....although the service provider (rogers) usually evaluates them on their network before allowing the manufacturer to sell.......still there are QA issues and some phones may be performing poorly while the golden unit sent to rogers may have done fine....

If you work at a Hospital (or tell Rogers that you do) and have an employee number (or make one up b/c I've heard they do not check), there is a healthcare providers plan.
$18/month
call waiting/ 3way calling/ voicemail/ call display
200 minutes
free weekends
or for $5 more you get free evenings after 6pm
Apparently, if you work for a doctor or dentist you can also qualify for this plan.
