LF: SteakHouse in GTA Area.
Hey guys, Im looking for a nice steak house to take the wifey to on our anniversery.
Now, Im in the GTA Area(West End of the city) and would prefer something in the west end of Toronto/ Mississauga.
Id like a more fancy place, but ive been to The Keg and Outback. Id take her to The Keg but they dont take reservations and are always pretty busy.
Anyone have any recommendations.
Thanks guys,
Matt

DH and his friends went to Ruth's Chris two weeks ago and really enjoyed it. They said it made The Keg look like McD's!
....and they take online reservations
Here's a thread about steakhouses!

LeBiftheque is really good for their price, its cheaper than the Keg, and I like their steaks more, there's one near the airport.

For the money, La Castile can't be beat. Best Filet Mignon my wife and I have EVER eaten.
Comparitively speaking, the Keg blows.
Plus the Keg does NOT take reservations on weekends.
Pardon me?

The Keg never takes reservations actually, even during the week.

Every restaurant i visit, for a big meal (not Kelseys) takes reservations.
The Keg is missing the point....the only way to avoid the lineups at the Keg is eat at 4pm, with the seniors.
No thanks.

Ruth's Chris downtown is a nice steak house, as well as a fancy place. I haven't been to the one at Square One in Mississauga, but the quality should be the same, plus parking will not be a problem there. Happy Anniversary!

damn, haven't been there in a few months, didn't even realize its closed. Please don't tell me the one in downtowns also gone. Do you guys know what happened, both the Markham and Airport location was always busy?
Maybe I have to go enjoy LeBiftheque in Montreal again.
