Easily Costco if the price is the same. Much easier to deal with for returns, customer satisfaction and warranty.

Personally I would go with Best Buy based solely on the fact that their warranty covers burn-in (Costco's does not)

With costco executive membership you also get 2% cash back also. Money for cables i guess, not a game changer but better than nothing.

Based on this thread @ Canada Computers , the 65 C8 @ $2699 is pretty good then (excluding the LG distributor warehouse deal)
That’s better than the Visions deal because Canada Computers is offering free delivery and installation.

Costco Executive membership is 2% cash back. So that would be $59.96 cash back on the 65C8.

If you can pick up at US border, MassDrop is doing a deal on LG SK10Y for $519.99 USD (approx $684 CAD) with free US shipping. It fits very nicely with the 65C8 and sounds great too. Most other sound bars are too tall and would block the panel when placed in front of the TV assuming they’re on the same stand.

Would love to get the 65C8, but those holes for wall mounting are in bottom tier of the tv. It will make the tv too high with my current setup.

Good price for a great TV.

I got one from visions Kitchener for $2699 yesterday. They were aware of the deal and I had no trouble at all.. I simply mentioned the price and they agreed right away. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could pull this off at any visions at this point.

I agree the cost o warranty is tempting, but it’s essentially a $400+tax difference for me to get it.

$3100-2700

Costco w warranty - visions price.

So I’m going to stick with what I have.
I bought the Q8FN from that same Kitchener Visions recently (still haven't picked up due to lack of van). I wanted to compare it with a few others, including the C8. What are my chance of being able to get the C8 at that $2699 price knowing that
A) I'm going to be returning one of the 2 things I've bought from them, and
B) If I'm buying 2 TVs from them, they might assume "Well, he can afford to spend more than $2699, let's not give him the deal"?

I think your chances are great based on my experience there. Like I said, I just mentioned the deal and they agreed immediately, I think it’s well know now amoung the employees

Wow looks like Canada Computers has the best deal by far. 2699 with free shipping and installation.

Doubt it, seems like in store only. I guess you can purchase and use the receipt to PM.

Did you get this deal? If so do you mind sharing which location and whom you dealt with in the store please?

Has anyone who lives in a condo been able to mount this tv using a full motion mount? Best buy employees have said that since condos have steel beams that they cannot mount using full motion only fixed with tilt option. Was told that if they install using full motion they would have to cut a hole in the wall and reinforce it and the they would not do that. Anyone have any experience with this?

The successor to OLED is MicroLED which is immune to burn-in. Once they figure out how to make these sets economically it is expected that the industry will shift to this tech at the leading edge.
