[Sears] LG Laundry Pair $989 @The Brick tomorrow - PM at Sears today (ymmv)

I missed out on the Whirlpool price error at FS last week and this deal caught my eye.

Tomorrow the Brick has this LG front loading laundry pair on for $989 in blue which I think is a great price! Regular price on this pair is anywhere from $1500 at Future Shop in Red, to $1800 at Sears in White or Titanium.

I phoned Sears at the Eaton Center today and was able to get a price match and order the pair in white - all done over the phone. I preferred doing that instead of having to show up at the Brick early tomorrow and hope to get one of the few laundry pairs allocated to each store (1000 chain wide).

The $989 price at the Brick is advertised in the flyer this week.

I had tried doing a PM in person at the Markville Sears and was turned down.

Hope this is useful to someone else!

Do you wear sunglasses when you approach these to avoid the retina damage?

For me they just did a straight up price match.

Haha, yes the blue isn't for everyone.....that's part of the reason that I went for the pair at Sears with a more neutral color.

Consider yourself lucky they price matched. I'm pretty sure the price is based on the color not so much of the quality of the product.

Nonetheless, that's a great price for the pair and you are getting TruBalance to boot. If your laundry room is on the second floor (like mine) you'll appreciate this feature.

If you want to spend a bit more money on more wash features and looks...the 2501 model is a great price (1499 pair).

I bought the 2701 model at home depot for around $1800 pair . I would have gladly downgraded to the 2501 at that price.

Pretty nice deal...

I've bought theses ones last summer and love them!

This pair price is almost 1900$ at regular price.
