I'd have to say I haven't been that impressed. Life has its moments but for the most part it is pretty much all BS. I was going to post in the other thread...but what's the point?
I dunno, I gotta say...drugs do look like a good alternative. At least you have no idea what is happening while life passes you by.
The news is really bad to watch but I just can't stop...they show it everyday...seriously depressing news.

life sucks?
http://forums.redflagdeals.com/showt...=152243&page=2
Looking at this thread, made me realize how many people think life is so ******.
It seems kind of depressing. Does EVERYONE think this way about adulthood?
I personally dont care what life brings onto my table. I have aspirations to do things, but in the end its kind of interesting just to look at the life you lived and reflect on what happened even if you had your bad times. After all... In the end we all go to the same place(according to your own beliefs it may be heaven, hell, or just decomposing in dirt)._______________

It depends what you make of your life too.
Some people may look to god and that would make them the happiest people in the world.
For me, even something as simple as a game of hacky sack, or beer and wings with some friends would add some meaning to occupy my life.
Is it because most peoples expectations are too high? Because we wont be satisfied unless we are billionaires? Even Millionaires complain about how hard they have to work for it and they dont enjoy their moeny._______________

We have too high of a expectation of life because of the TV shows we've been watching as a kid.

My life sucks really badly right now. I left Ottawa when i was in my prime, living at home, had my 'dead end' job that i was happy at because i was working with people i went to school with and everybody else was really laid back, low stress with high school, i knew a lot of people, had my wheels, living with my parents, not a care in the world.
FF
Now i'm living in a rut, sleeping on the ground, working 50hrs a week, studying after work, falling asleep with the lights on, never going out at night anymore, don't know anybody, gotta worry about tuition, finding a place to rent for when i move back to Waterloo (on co-op in London) and i'm not having any fun. Sure i'm making more money, but my job is harder, i'm not working with my buddies that i grew up with and chilled with anymore and there's far more stress at work and then with school, the bills, etc. As well, throw in the bad luck i've been getting with my neck getting cut up badly (long story), parking ticket, etc. and i've got a crappy setup right now.
Shortened version:
More responsability isn't a bad thing, but it's when you loose your friends/family then life starts to suck.

Money does not necessary bring happiness, but knowing how to control/manage may help you towards happier days.
Waking up every day thinking of debts and bills and how to get by making ends meet is no fun. Life should revolve more than just worrying about paycheques, rent, and bills.
I want to worry about where I want to vacation next vs when my next bill is due.
As a child we didn't have these financial worries and all we cared about is when's reccess, when's nap time, and when's school over so we can go out and play and just hang around.
These days it's I don't have time for this or that. Life is on the fast lane partially because some people put themselves in that situation. No time to cook for dinner. No time for exercise. No time to do banking. No time to sit back and do jack and just relax. Less personal responsibility and more pointing the fingers when things go wrong.
Why do grandmas and grandpas drive so slow? Cause they're retired and have little obligation and pressure, no where they need to be quick. They are enjoying life whereas you and I are being run around by those $$$ signs that have taken control over us.
5 min till work, gott run!! ***vrroooommmmm!!**

I think simple is best too but look at expectations these days. Get a good job, go get married, raise a kid, get good marks, etc. The pressure is a little excessive. Its so easy to get caught up in it all.
I don't think God solves any real problems...just the ones you think he can solve...

I think it's because at one point in your life, and it's usually somewhere around your mid twenties when you've been working a steady job for a couple of years, every day is exactly the same. And eventually everything just kind of blurs together and weeks go by quick, weekends faster, and on the days you sit back and realize this is happening, it's generally too difficult to put the brakes on. Too many bills, too many responsibilities, whatever the case may be. Just draining doing the same thing day in and day out, and never noticeable getting any further ahead.

i strongly disagree with these posters, teen years was not fun at all, u have no power. U have to stay in high school and can't do anything. When I got to univ had more responsibilites but could do so much more.
During univ and after it got even better cause i had wheels, job, money and much more freedom. For me it seems life keeps getting better. The best point in your life i think is your mid-20s. Teen years suck cause u gotta live under someone else's roof and listen to other ppl. For my family it was no fun, cause we were dirt broke and i had to go to skule so couldnt help at all.
mid 20's and even 30s is where life is da bomb._______________
