It's a good thing that the pricing is that high.
At least I won't see those "gangster" kids wearing shades and bling blings while doing bench presses.
That way, the facility will be trash free.

So I just joined, 129$ a month plus taxes. I have separate memberships for gym, swimming, and I like to play at the courts too. Having everything under 1 membership, closer to home, plus the 24 hour convenience is worth it to me. Gym looks incredible, can't wait till it opens

Have you ever been to the wholefoods at square one, it is always busy and packed, there are plenty of people in mississauga and surrounding area (this place is near a highway so very accessible) that can afford to pay $120/month, PLENTY of people. And those sorts of people interested in paying $120/month... like my mom for example definitely do not use redflagdeals and are NEVER frugal. My mom is the average middle class woman making 100k/year who behaves and spends like she makes 250k/year and she feels she deserves it. So your going to have plenty of people like that signing up here and not only paying the 120/month but getting massages+ personal trainers adding another 50-60 a month in fees. If your looking for value look elsewhere. If your looking for a kick ass gym sign up.
as for myself, i'll prolly just get a job there and enjoy a free membership hahahah
this is not a shill post i have over 300 posts on RFD, my bro got a job there and i'll probably get a job there aswell because the place looks absolutely nuts!Last edited by staffpro; Feb 21st, 2012 at 03:09 PM.

I was there last night at the sales center. I thought we would have been able to take a tour of the facility but they haven't opened the doors yet and only pictures are available. I was impressed with what they have to offer but with the extensive offerings comes the big price tag. They offered us $220 for our family (including two small kids) which really isn't an affordable option for us. However, we are going to take the fully refundable two week trial membership.

They have the "sneak peak" on the 7th and its opening to the public on the 9th. i was there last night and passing by the building, you can see that the inside of it is ready to go, equipments are all nicely set up already. I'm quite excited for this to open. The Y in Mississauga is so amazingly busy now and everyone that goes there seemed to have lost the decency to put away their dumbbells/weights. Too much teenagers running around and being distracting. etc. This place will be a good change of pace.

I'm very tempted to join. At $140 a month x2 for a crossfit membership that offers very little in terms of amenities , this is a very good deal - relatively speaking.

Chaos at the Grand Opening
Went to the Grand Opening last night and it was chaos trying to even turn into the parking lot. Apparently, they let non-members in as well causing it to be very busy. The place itself is unlike anything in Canada. Very nice with pretty much any fitness, sports, amenities you can think of. The outdoor facility reminds me of a resort in Arizona or Florida. It's opened today for Founding Members from 10am to 8pm and tomorrow at 4am for everyone else. Looking forward to getting back in shape.

Went yesterday as well, and it definitely reassured me that the amount I'm paying is worth it. This facility is amazing, anything and everything is new, lots of extras and most importantly, those damned annoying teenagers can't afford the membership price(hopefully!).

Tomorrow will be exciting lol._______________
