Light Sweet Crude

Can anyone tell me the symbol for the Light Sweet Crude index ?

And name any companies that is in the LSC sector as well? Thanks.

how do you know crude oil is SWEEEEET?????? do they actually taste it? i keep hearing sweet crude oil, oil is oil. can't they just leave it at that?

Sweet refers to the sulfur content of the crude oil, the "sweeter" it is, the lower the sulfur content and the more valuable it is.

Sulphur content is referred to as "sour" (as in sour gas). So low-sulphur oil is referred to as "sweet" (opposite to sour).

the symbol is " OILSW " ....as far as the companies , do a search.
