Seems super cheap considering Expedited Shipping is included in the $135USD price tag.

3 Caveats:
1)Other's have had shipping issues before, however keep in mind this includes 2-5 Business Day Expedited shipping and isn't the 2-3 Months free shipping option
2) With Expedited Shipping you'll probably get taxed when it comes across the border
3) If you are still concerned, pay with PAYPAL, so at least you're protected if non receipt.

Here's Techtablet's review. Seems to be ok. 7 Hours battery range. Slight keyboard flex due to how thin it is, Prolonged use heat issue (possibly remedied by fan)

This is really quite cheap. a Z8300 based Transformer book with a worse screen and smaller storage would go for about that much used on Craigslist.

Why talk in USD when it shows CAD by default if it detects our IP? IS there a reason we should be concerned about USD VS CAD Prices?

Image This CPU Performance is quite insanely slow...

Brand new laptop, small form factor, FHD screen, less than 200$, cpu is slow indeed but enough for basic browsing and general purpose mono tasking.

I think it's of very good value.

Beware. I have this laptop. Build quality is terrible. Flexes like crazy when typing When on battery it will crash when outputting video via HDMI. It will crash if you plug an external mechanical hard drive via usb enclosure. Laptop also runs hot due to inadequate cooling. If broken you will have to pay shipping back to China which is why I ended up keeping it since shipping was expensive. Never again.

Thanks for the review... my mother has a cheap notebook that is randomly rebooting, likely from overheating - I was considering this is a cheap replacement, but I think I'll skip it - going from an AMD A9 to a Cherry Trail processor was already off putting. I'll bite the bullet and either get a laptop cooler, or do a teardown and redo thermal paste on her laptop instead.

That's more or less what I was thinking. I have trouble recommending such lower powered processors for people, BUT the most demanding thing she does is running a word processor, hardly something you need an i7 for. But, build quality definitely still matters.

if you are going low end laptop and you must have windows 10 instead of a chromebook just get/order a bottom feeder Acer at Walmart for $300. Will do most things Older generations of folks (browsing/email/web games) need plus you can easily return it if it is a POS without restocking fees or return shipping hassles.

Ordering notebooks from Chinese vendors is high risk low reward situation.

Second that. Had the laptop, it was awful. Constant crashes that were caused by the hardware. Cheap for a reason. Never again.

I was actually tempted last night. Very low price for a FullHD display. And cheap boxes usually suffer from half the RAM and half the "disk" (eMMC). So, on paper, this looks good.

In fact, I was reading RFD and reviews (positive with provisos) using a netbook with a poorer display, a weaker CPU, and half the RAM and disk. And using this was OK. I just hoped for better.

I would run Linux on it. So I googled and found that normal Linux distros won't run on the EZBook 2. It seems that sound, touchpad, and WiFi don't have Linux drivers or are quirky in a way that won't work. Perhaps the people trying weren't doing it right, but I would not want to bet on that.

After I decided not to buy one, sfu_lifer and vietmunki (thanks!) warned us off.
