Nice. I did this last time $12 for $40 thanks to a 50% coupon.

Got it in time for my bday dinner. So it helped. I really like hotpot but I consider the price to end up being really restricting for regular dining.

I wish they had a set meal price.. as in a lower price for 1 plate of meat and a mixed veggie platter. I feel like I have to over eat every time I go. I always feel good after even though I eat too much, which is a pleasant surprise.

If they did a $15 set dinner combo thing then I would go a couple times a month instead of once or twice a year.

Just to be clear, you only get $40 off for that $12. So you save $28. A dinner per person is like $30. So you will save basically 25% off your meal for 4.

He used EXTRA50 coupon effectively making it 12 for $40 value

Right.. but he said $12 for 4 people AYCE... it reads an awful lot like he read the deal as it will cost him $12 for 4 people to eat, or $12 per person. Just wanted to make sure he is clear that he is only getting a $40 gift card essentially.

This is the best deal by far for hotpot, but it still doesn't make it cheap ;)

Also, yes you need 4 people to make it work unless they are super nice about it.

Also note that the $40 is a cash voucher, so total price is the same in regards to taxation and tip.

Haha.. Thanks. I missed it. So I guess LUNCH for 4 would be $17*4 - $40 = $28. So in total I pay $40 + tax + tips for lunch
I think I am tricked!

Sadly its only for dinner (at least mine was in Ottawa)

This is still decent savings. You save $7 per person if you max out value by only going with 4. You save more if you share a family pot I believe in terms of added broth cost... but sharing is tough due to allergies/food preferences.

If you have never tried it before, then it's a nice incentive to go. My spouse and I will most likely get another $20 voucher since we enjoy just going with the two of us.

There is usually an option on groupon to get refunded if you go your purchases. I've done it before where I ordered a groupon for a loot box before seeing it was US and the shipping was through the roof. The refund process was automatic. Check your account purchase history on the website and see if that order has a refund button.

Saw it. Done! Thanks.. Kinda cheaky wording, aren't they?

For that money, I could do that myself, at home, for a lot more, and I know what's cooking too. Wicked!

We've tried.. never got the flavors nearly as good :)

Plus the variety of meats, veggies, and sea food makes it fun. But it's definately not value eating. But a nice treat occasionally. I prefer it to say something like The Keg.
