but man, its way too more expensive.
How would you like to live in the 2-bedrooms apt style res for 650/mon, when you could just pay half for the same room off the campus

Can it really be called "living" if it's happening in Windsor?
PS - enjoy the casino, I'm up a few grand there (but down one leather jacket

Windsor Rocks!!!
I lived all over Windsor on campus, uptown downtown, by the bridge, by the casino. I musta had 7 addresses the whole time I was up there. And for the record, it is no where near as bad as Detroit, have y'all drove down 8-mile. I was fortunate to live in some great houses and such as 1195 California (best house on the block), we had the whole house. Also if you can, try to negotiate your rent w/ the landlord, apparently there are a lot of 1st time landlords down there so you'd b surprsied what you can get away with if you ask for it, or demand it.
Also avoid anyhouse on Sunset since the corrupt university also owns all those houses & don't do the bets job of taking care of it. If you are gooing 2 live on rez consider Clark or that new on they built last year across from it. I hear the whole place has wired internet.
Some of the people in Windsor can be ghetto at times & the teenagers look trashy, but hey it makes up for it with its bar scene & night life.
Not too many cites can throw a partay like Windsor can.
I agree with what the other guy said T.O. is prolly just as bad if not worse. Like 3 shooting in the last 3 days? And 20 in the last month.
Yeah Its nice to see so many Windsor Alums on this site, looks like we all made it out of Windsor alive. We should start our own thread on here. For Windsor students & alums only.

Its not that bad in Windsor, it has an outlet mall nearby, Devon Mall, Bling Bling spinners... Chinese crusines and BBT is everywhere compare to the asian ratios. Also, you should checkout the new stadium, swimming pool especially

I went to UofW twenty plus years ago, so my advice would be rather dated
BTW, I lived mostly in apartments on Peter Street.

Ahhhh....
I thought you ment the other house on California. The one with no heat, no AC and the bad sewage problem that stunk up the house.
Definately good times...
