Lens is in LNIB (like new, in box) condition and shows NO signs of use. I used it probably two or three times (including to test) since I got it from Gentec (Sigma's Canadian distributor) a few months ago.

I originally had the 28-70mm/2.8 EX DG, but it had a backfocus issue on my Sony A700 and I brought it to Gentec Int'l in Markham. They couldn't fix it for whatever reason so they gave me this 24-70mm/2.8 EX DG instead, it is confirmed and tested to be a good, sharp sample. All of the work with respect to sample variation and focus calibration has already been done for you.

All literature that comes with this lens when new is included. Even the original plastic bags that the lens is contained in is included. The hood has yet to be opened from its packaging. Both original front and rear caps are included.

Price: $SOLD.

Compare to $599 new + tax at Henry's, where you still may play musical chairs in terms of sample variation. Or, compare to $1899 + tax for a Sony Carl Zeiss SAL2470Z (24-70mm/2.8) lens. Save your money! I can make sample images upon request, as carried out on my A700. Willing to meet up within the GTA, west end (North York to Peel region) or downtown preferred.
