The receipts lose the ink after sometime, so how do you justify buying those cards. When i had bought them last time from SDM at 10% off, i called CT customer care and they said all cards had the balance as expected....
The thief checks the balance just like you did. There's no balance on them until you pay for them. When the thief sees a balance, he goes and spends it with duplicate card before you do.

How do people commit fraud with the cash cards?

BTW - with this deal gas at Canadian Tire will be cheaper than at Costco
and no horrible line-up
Plus do the survey and get 2c off per Lit.

These coupons can be reused. Good idea to crop out the expiry date. The barcode is the same every time you fill out the survey.

For every $50 spent in store 10,000 pts

For every $50 spent in store before applicable taxes and after all other coupons, discounts and PC point redemptions are deducted, in a single transaction at any participating store location (excludes purchase of tobacco, alcohol products, prescriptions, gift cards, phone cards, lottery tickets, all non-participating third party operations and any other products which are provincially regulated) you will earn the points indicated. Product availability may vary by store. We are not obligated to award points based on errors or misprints. Minimum redemption 20,000 points. See terms & conditions for redemption restrictions.

But if I understand this properly you have to spend a minimum of $100 to get 20,000 points
Why don't they just say that clearly
redemption is not equal to earning. Redeeming = using points

You earn 10K points for $50 but when you want to redeem, 20K is minimum.

Thanks. Just bought 1K worth, rang up at $900. Add on 2% from my Mbna and it becomes an even sweeter deal at 12%

I can't believe just how cheap gas is when you stack all of the available coupons at Canadian Tire gas.

10%off gift card
4%of grocery purchases with my credit card
2 cents off a litre with the survey coupon
Cdn tire money ~2%

I just paid 105.5 after I ran the math for premium gas.

Sad when I'm so happy about 105.5 gas, by I am! Not to mention no 20 minutes Costco lineup while being more then 10 cents a litre cheaper!

Also, found a coupon for 3cents off Canadian tire gasoline. It was in grocery flyers.
