Nonsense. The Logitech G110 has always been a very good budget gaming keyboard. At $40, it's a good deal.

I wish I could find one in Montreal. I bought a gaming mouse for my nephew but he also needs a keyboard. The G110 under $50 would be perfect. He's using an old yellow (it used to be white...) Microsoft keyboard from the Pleistocene era, but his mom keeps saying "it's fine! it's just a keyboard!"... :)

I've been using my Logitech G110 for about 2 yrs already. For $40 it's not a bad deal, you get 3 color back lid leds and a lot of programmable keys.

+1 ... they actually went up in price since they're harder to find and pro gamers luv them. around $100 now at other places, like ncix.

Not every gamer likes mechanical keyboards I hate them. Finger fatigue and annoying click, click, click. Oh, and I forgot to mention extremely overpriced due to the popularity. I'll stick to my Logitech G11 until it dies.

G110 is a good price at $40, you are not going to find a good mechanical keyboard for anywhere near that price.

Doesn't sound like you had or tested a mechanical keyboard with cherry mx red switches, these require the least actuation force (ie: no finger fatigue, easier to press then rubber dome keyboards) and do not have any click if you don't bottom out, and even if you do bottom out it is not bad at all.

I own a cherry mx red switch keyboard and I also get finger fatigue faster than I would using a good Logitech rubber dome keyboard. I still prefer it, but debating if the price I paid was really worth it.

Is the G110 a mechanical keyboard?

BTW, I would call this YYMV as it is not everywhere
