Logitech Harmony 880 remote for $169 (another price drop at Dell!!!!)
This is actually old news. But for all you still looking for the Harmony 880, Dell.ca has it for $209 but you can apply the 15% nonDell peripherals coupon by going through yourshops.ca
http://www.yourshops.ca/servlet/Cont...#1116338926831
After the coupon is entered at checkout (it should show up in the yellow box near the top right after you get to the Dell site from yourshops.ca), the remote will be $178+tax (free shipping)
I suppose there might be an opportunity for PM with BB/FS?
EDIT:
They lowered the price to $199 to match the price in the new flyer. So that means $169.15 +tax
EDIT 2:
They lowered the price to $179.10. So that means $152.xx +tax
EDIT 3: It seems the coupon code for yourshops may not be stackable onto this new price. It only applies the coupon to the regular priceLast edited by warpdrive; Nov 14th, 2005 at 05:37 PM.

Friend of mine got this for $99 from Staples a week or two ago. It has since been changed to 299.99. His didn't work so they were going to come down and replace it for him. Haven't talked to him since.

$99? Must have been a pricing mistake. This sells for $300 everywhere else.

The remote is great! and the price is great as well, I bought it at NCIX a while ago and it works with all my AV equipment, also works great with the PVR as well.

What is the advantage of the 880 over the 688?

The bigger screen is what makes me want it, easier to put usable labels. The docking recharger is a nice bonus.

Anyone know if there is a Timer Feature on the 880? Like a macro that you can set a time for the remote to hit the OFF button so all the devices turn off, I have the 659 and its the only thing missing right now..

I test drove one of these a few months ago, and found it worked great with my devices and easy to program/train. But the biggest thing wrong with it was the small pointy buttons on the sides of the display screen (the ones used to pick/control devices)... They were tiny and I kept hitting the neigbouring buttons by accident.
Poor design in this area imo. But otherwise a great product (if you have small fingers that is.)
I still may consider getting one at this price though... or wait for the next redesign.
