Lokking for a speaker for my desktop

I would like to get a good quality, under $100 speaker for my desktop computer. I want a simple system that does not use a lot of space. I do not want a system with 2 speakers and a subwoofer. Even if it is above $100 a Sonos Play 1 would be great if it was compatible with my desktop. The Play 5 is too much money. Any suggestion?

I would suggest you get the M-Audio AV32

Wait for a sale. Usually around ~$80

The Edifier speakers are pretty good too

Any idea how the M audio AV32 compares to the Creative gigaworks T20?
both around the same price.
Just looking for watching TV, movies etc or do I need a 2.1?

I originally wanted the Creative speakers. They’re both very good speakers. I think the M-Audio has a slight edge on sound compared to the T20. Its very slight.

If you’re using it for TV and movies, you’re probably better off with a 2.1. If your listening to music, the M-Audio has better base and the T20 has slightly better midrange.

Thanks. The T20 does have more midrange and highs and a bit more detail in what you hear.
Sounds awesome to me.
M audio is bassy and midrange and highs seem non existent.
It also lacks the clarity and detail of the T20 IMO.
I really prefer midrange over bass for TV and movies and usually keep the volume low.

Base is totally useless for movies. It is great for action movies, but action movies also have dialogue.

T20 is a great choice.

Crisp and clear is what I'm looking at.
Saw good reviews for the cheapo Edifiers R19U's I think.
Described as a total lack of bass which is pretty much what I need.
Which ones you got?
