Metrotown / Burnaby …

[London Drugs] All Fidget Spinners on sale for $2.49 ...even the all metal ones [Regular: $9.99 to $29.99]

I was just at a local London Drugs here in Metrotown and in the toys aisle there was a rack full of various different types of fidget spinners all being sold at $2.49.
(later saw another rack up at the front)

Even the metal ones that had the regular price of $29.99 (...speaking of which no clue who'd ever pay that much for those) are on sale for $2.49.

Although probably every kid has one by now, still not a bad little gift for boys (and girls alike).
I bought a bunch to give away as birthday favours... (i.e. in a bag with other little presents that we usually give for kids that come to our child's birthday)

a few other kinds are available in store.

Enjoy!

I had pogs! I have no idea in hell why... I think kids will think the same about their spinners. "Stupid adults made this and tricked me into buying it?"

Great deal. I need a replacement for my pet rock. It just died. I forgot to feed it last weekend.

Pogs lasted several years. They were also competitive. Not like fidget spinners which don't really have a social aspect.

I work in an elementary school and have not seen a single one since June. Although two kids did dress up as fidget spinners for halloween this year.

Homemade slime remains just as popular as last year. And little bouncy balls have never gone away.

Coming to a Dollarama near you. There are thousands of pallets of these in a warehouse somewhere rotting.

Haven't seen anyone carrying one for a while now. I guess the trend has ended?

On a somehow related note, do people still play Pokemon Go? Face With Tears Of Joy

Spinners have a social aspect, people making fun of them for playing by themselves.

oh didn't actually realize that. (We had a pretty long strike in our organization so I am out of touch with a number of things).
Thanks everyone for pointing that out!! so I don't end up embarrassing myself (or my kid)
