This phone is faster then the 1st and 2nd gen Moto G due to Snapdragon 400 vs 410, but the Gs have better screens and cameras.

The phone being sold here (london drugs) is the 1st gen Moto E (dual core) but they put the 2nd gen picture by mistake.

Walmart and bestbuy currently have the 2nd gen moto e for $130 which is $20 off. Picked one up and not a bad budget phone.

Has anyone confirmed in-store that this is indeed the 2nd gen Moto E?

I visited a store in East Van several minutes ago. The product label does say model 4G LTE XT1527, the 2nd gen model.

Thanks! In that case, this a great deal.

Then it would be a Moto G lol. I guess it's time to wait for the Moto G 2014 to go on sale for ~$110-$120.

Thanks for pointing out the Moto E is now cheaper at Best Buy. Sure took long enough for Best Buy to lower its price after a competitor does, imo. Good for consumers. Those who bought already at London Drugs should go back and ask if they can match Best Buy's new price. Get another $10 back.

But even purchased "No term", they would make you sign up on a plan on month to month, so even if cancelled shortly thereafter, there would be some pro-rated fees, and possibly activation fee.

Virgin Mobile has an option for getting it as a gift through the prepaid option. The Moto G is oos for online purchase, so I selected another Android phone, HTC Desire 626s. No way to drop the $4.99 SIM though afaik.

"Check out and pay only for the phone. You or your lucky loved one can pick a plan later when activating the phone. Sweet.
Your phone price(What you pay now)

For the Bell one, yes, but virgin has it for $199 prepaid. You can even add to cart and order online. You will have to pay the extra $4.99 for the virgin SIM and taxes of course. On Virgin website you can select "Get it as a Gift" so you dont have to activate a plan or anything.

EDIT: OP beat me to it

Apologize if this is a stupid question, however this will work with Rogers once unlocked right? Including 4G?
