Details about the nokia's:
i have three nokia 8890's and two dont give me any reception... the housing is 8890's but i dont know if the insides are though, i took it apart and it looks exactly like my (3rd 8890) working one.
The firmware is of an 8850 so thats why im not getting recption but the esn # on the phone matches the one on the outside so either theyre 8890's flashed to 8850's or someone managed to change the esn.
can anybody shed some light on whether or not 8890's can be flashed to 8850's or how to tell if the phone really is an 8890/8850.

From what I've heard, www.bongowireless.com is pretty good. AKA Kevin.

The thing about the price $20 vs. $40... In Kevin, you are dealing with someone who has a store, in-house equipment, and has done thousands and thousands of these flashes. I've never been there myself, but have seen scores of testimonials, over a period of years.

would prefer if i can flash both my nokia's and moto at the same time
and if the flasher can also look at my nokia's for free before flashing to see if tehy are indeed flashable since im not sure if they are
all commercial companies charge $15-30 just to look at the phone for a NON-REFUNDABLE quote. You either pay what is quoted or pay the $$ jsut for them to give you the quote.
