Beauty! enjoy the ride. Are you planning on driving mostly around in Caglary or Vancouver?
Probably around Vancouver mostly, got lazy and mostly staying in Vancouver. Weather here better than snow in Calgary.

The 718 is really the best looking and most proportional Porsche for me.

Enjoy your new ride. @vkizzle and I are waiting for the Taycan. :)
I inquired about the taycan but there's now a 3 year wait list for the local dealer and no pricing info. They said they may pull some strings if I wanted to get one.

Yup 718 was a great improvement in looks, but still needs wider hips :P
It's true, I wish it did have wider hips lol.

From the photos, the Taycan's exterior is ho-hum.

Even the 911 and the new 2020 MY looks better.

My father had a 928 before but without power steering, it wasn't easy to maneuver. Those older styling still looks great to me.

There's also the Audi E-Tron GT that looks way better IMO. Hope the price is cheaper although the resale value might not be as good as a Porsche.

500 HP is looking more like $90k and up.

It looks sharp though but I'd rather double that amount of money in five years or less, hopefully.

I will play the waiting game but may end up with a German BEV because they are the only ones in dire strait and are taking EV revolution seriously thanks to the EU regulators.

Would rather go with Lexus or Toyota or Honda but likely not happening before the Germans.

Good luck getting that for $90k, it'll be more like $120k+ for a 500HP electric luxury car.

No, I'm not even bothering with any $90k BEV.

I don't even bother checking the prices out since I'm not the target market.

I did see from C/D's write up on the new 911 (922) that those will cost $100-130k USD.

I'm totally out of that league lol. Even if I could afford it, I don't go out that often to merit the purchase.

I'm actually very interested in the upcoming 718 Cayman T, if they release it in Canada. Driving.ca though has reported that Porsche has no plans to bring the T to Canada. This would've been perfect.

I wonder it they will release the T here and if the base will be less than $62k.

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a2562 ... -t-purist/
It slots between the base and the S, so no way it'll be less than $62k. Kind of like the Macan Sport that slots between the base and the S

Congrats on the new car.

I always thought when they released the 718 GT4 that it was like the baby CGT and taken some styling queue's from the CGT.

BTW.. that Taymac is gorgeous..
