Looking for affordable desktop

Anyone know where i can find an affordable desktop computer that is capable of running current games decently?

What does affordable look like to you? Between $400-500? or $600-800?

Best to define parameters to help. Also at what resolution/monitor size are you looking for. A lot of games will run on average hardware as long as the settings are medium or middle of the road.

Set up a budget and have RFD members provide you with their recommended computer specs (e.g. motherboard, CPU, HDD, video card, etc). Exclude any hardware that you already have and want to use in the new computer (e.g. monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.)...these should be external to the desktop or you would need to install it later. Have a company like NCIX or ME build and test out that computer. Better parts and a better computer than Dell.

I'm looking to spend around $700 on the pc itself. Maybe if people can help out with specs that'll be better. I haven't really looked into computers the last decade so any help would be appreciated

You can post in the Computers and Electronics forum asking for a $700 gaming PC build suggestions/recommendations. Post what you already have for a monitor, etc and what games you play or plan to play in the near future. One big question is whether or not you are planning to overclock the CPU.
