There's tons of listings on craigslist. Also, if you know anyone who's a UofT student, ask them for their birthday and student ID so that you can check out the UofT housing site. Lots of cheap rentals/sublets there. Good luck!

the GTA covers a very large area... you should probably narrow it down a bit..
