Actually, it is a little bit more difficult than you think. and providing no information about what you're looking for doesn't help. Let's say I have $30,000 to spend on a car and I'm asking you which is the best car to get. that's not a lot to go by. Am I looking for a coupe? minivan? hot hatch? is comfort more important or speed or handling.
Similarly, what do you imagine yourself using the camera for mostly? landscape? sports? are you planning to produce large prints? low light photography? are you planning to take pictures for personal use or specific photo jobs? etc???
$600-$700 isn't a big budget for a camera especially if you take lens into consideration (if you do decide to buy an interchangable lens camera) so you're going to have to make some tradeoffs in sacrificing features you don't really need to those that will be more useful for you.

Although Sony SLT's don't get much recognition compared to the big two Canon & Nikon, they are like the Hyundai of camera's right now. Alot of features for the money. Only thing is they have less lens selection.
Sony A57. It's offering quite a bit more features for the money compared to the T2i/T3i.
