Looking for chelsea boots for men

Doesn't have to be a "deal". Looking to spend under $250 so that removes Loding from the list. I'm having trouble finding good quality, slim profile, chelsea boots. I don't want anything bulky like blundstone.. Anyone?

Jcrew had some REALLY nice ones marked down to like 300ish, and they looked nearly identical to common projects

All these are garbage quality, though. I'd like something better quality but don't want to drop $500 on CP's or some others mentioned above. There's gotta be a brand out there that makes slim profile, good quality boots in my price range. They exist in other styles (i.e. dress shoes, other dress boots), they must exist for chelseas.

Step your bread up a bit and grab some red wing 2917 Chelsea boots. They'll last you your entire life

Profile isn't slim enough. If I'm spending that I'm just grabbing the LodinG which is likely what's going to end up happening anyway at this point

Yeah better not to **** around and just get what you ultimately want. You'll have regrets otherwise

Pony up on CPs and it'll last you life time

Don't cop $100 chelseas that you have to replace every year

Maybe I'm getting old but a good pair of mens shoes are an investment... especially in GYW when you can resole. It's not like your feet size changes over time when you gain or lose weight.

LodinG shoes are reasonably priced, despite the price increase. Maybe wait for a sale?

The Bay has some decent offerings.
In the higher priced range I like the Loakes.
Cheaper offerings from Sweeney London, Johnston and Murphy and Topman are decent as well.

The one's at Banana Republic are really good too - $198 but they're 40% off now. Look like great quality for ~$100.

Thanks for the suggestion! The Chelsea's at BR are nice and a great deal right now but unfortunately they're all sold out in my size. Wish I posted this a few weeks earlier.
