What are you looking for in terms of features? Have you checked consumer reports? Specific brand in mind??

Samsung front loaders are priced really well..the lower capacity ones can be found anywhere between 950 - 1200 for the pair at futureshop.

Check out the Ariston models at Home Depot - I recall the pair came to less than $1000 - considered a good make in Europe (my Mum in the UK had one for years)

I just need the front load feature,nothing fancy. I did check Home Depot, they don't have promotion now , but i will keep checking, so I can take the 10% off by signing the credit card.
