Looking for a Dodge Grand Caravan Canada Value Package - CVP
Whats the best deals anyone has got on the above vehicle?
We recently went to Erin Dodge in Mississauga and when the sales person showed us the vehicle, I jokingly told her I'd offer $17k on the road....she immediately countered and said that was impossible but they could do $19k OTR...unfortunatley I was strapped for time and said I'd be back in an hour as I had an appointment at home with a realtor and when I got home there was a message from her sales manager saying that they could not do the price she promised...
Anyone get a Caravan for close to $19k in the GTA recently?

$19k OTR is a good deal. I paid $17999 + HST for mine, which is more than $19k! I've got almost 8k on the car in the 3 short months I've had it. It's a fantastic car for the price. I said to myself I'd never buy an American car, after owning 2 Toyotas. You can argue depreciation all you want, but for much less than a Sienna or Odyssey, it's well worth it. I have no complaints so far. Time will tell.

I've got 86K on 2010 Caravan. No problems except for cracked ignition key and brakes at 36K.

I also am like you. If a Sienna or Odyssey ever cost 20% more, then I'd buy that over a Caravan. But when the price difference is 50-75%, that's just hard to justify.
The Odyssey's are like 35-40k OTR. I could almost buy 2 Caravans for that price.

Feedback on this
Just to let everyone know, I have had 2 offers....I am going tonight to sign the deal.
I got a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan Canada Value package with a roof rack(extra $200 plus taxes) for an all in price of $20539.
I was offered $20k even for the same vehicle at a different dealer after I had already commited to the initial dealer, so I decided not to haggle any further....also, the second dealer did not have the car on the lot, he had to order it in.
If you want the specific dealer name and sales person details PM me.

I am glad you got a great deal, I just got into the dealership about 20 minutes ago... It is a shame you did not give me time to work it out for you after you told me you needed a few days to get your affairs in order!!!
Nevertheless, no question you did receive a great deal based on the numbers you are stating here and assuming you are not waiting on a factory order to arrive!!!
Congratulations on your purchase!!! You did receive a great deal!!!

we have 2 caravans in our house
2002 and 2010
the 02 had the tranny go, but other than that (out of the ordinary), its been solid. we really treat it like crap, it now has 220 000 km on it
the 2010 has been realiable to a tee. my only complaint is it uses more gas than the 02

What do you expect the price to be after the deal ends on Feb 26?
The deals look really really good right now. We are moving back to Canada from France. Looking for a minivan -- Dodge Grand Caravan is at the top of the list. Deal is really good. Unfortunately we don't arrive until late on Feb 29th so the Canada deal will be over. What is likely to happen to the price once the deal is over?
Thanks

Anyone know if the towing package is available on the CVP van? It's not an option in the online configurator, but I don't want to go up to the SXT just to get the towing pack...
Thanks

The towing package is not available on the CVP, either an SXT or CREW

The difference pays for not being last on the list:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/1..._n_774293.html
"The Chrysler brand was ranked last of 27 brands shown in the survey, the magazine said, while Jeep ranked 20th and Dodge was 24th. No Chrysler vehicles scored above average in reliability."
