KSC-35s/55s/75s if you can still find them
Sharp MD33s or Sony EX71SLs.
SemiCanalphones are good, but pure canalphones are a little too isolating.

None of these are good for running, i've tried the sony ones, they are more for look than anything.. try these..

for just portability/druability, i recommend these:

i'd think those clip ons would fall off easily while bouncing around... the Koss KSC- clip on series have foam pads, which i would imagine would get real hot and uncomfortable after awhile... thought they would have much better sound than anything in its price range, not good for running
the ones i suggest above are lightweight, really durable.. but sound like crap...
