Looking for Malay/Thai food..I recommend..

I highly recommend this place as well. Haven't been back there since they renovated, but am planning a trip there later this month.

Went to Restoran malaysia for this past Valentine's Day.

It looked great. And i havent been there before.
The washrooms are awesome. Well worth the trip out to RH.

Oh and the food was good too. :p


I didnt care for the Rendang, but i got a green curry chicken and some roti to mop it up with. Will definitely go back again.

I dont recommend this restuarent and the dishes are not good and way too expensive. The owner is the same as Satay Ria in Market Village many years ago who took all the money away and declared bankrupt the next day without paying the wages to all his employees because no money? After few years, he started Restoran Malaysia at Bayview and Major Mac? Whoever is working there better becarefuly cause you might not get the paid ONE day...

I havent tried Satay Ria, the owner of it used to be partners with my friends dad, before they stole the recipes for the curry sauces etc.. and no opened Satay Ria..

There is a new one that opened a couple of months ago or so. It's way back in the corner where the ramen noodle place used to be.

Well...that's not true. In Msia, you pay as little as CAD$2 and the food or dishes are much much better than the one you order from Restoran Malaysia...

There's a small stand (food court) at Sheppard & Brimley (south east corner), forgot the name. But its definitely a place I use to go on a regular when I worked in that area.

I'm sorry to hear that you do not like this resturant, but to whoever that has not tried it, give it a shot you might enjoy the food.

Just off Whites Road in Pickering is a little joint called Red House Thai. I love it, it's tiny but the food is great.

I like the spicy beef, and the cashew chicken. I haven't even gotten around to trying the pad thai yet!

They have lunch specials for about $7.50 which includes a main, spring rolls, shrimp chips and a drink.

WoW Malaysia is amazing.

I was just there today for father's day meal and it was great!!

Food was great...customer service was great... restaurant is clean.. portions were big.

I give it 9/10! they lost 1 point cuz they don't serve alcohol which sucked.. I always like an ice cold beer with my curry.

But food was amazing...will be a frequent customer.
