Here's the deal.

Me and 3 of my friends had a great time in Niagara Falls last year (a weekend trip from Montreal), and we're looking for somewhere else to go.

The original plan was to go to Deerhurst resort (http://deerhurstresort.com/). I checked Priceline, but I am not getting anything less than 130 for the weekend (July 30th to August 1st)

Upon further reflection, this is really the first vacation I've taken in an year so I can't afford for it to end up being a rain-out. At the same time, Toronto has been done and Niagara Falls as well. Going to either is out of the question. I really don't want to deal with talking French for a few days - Quebecers are incredibly merciless if they know you live in Quebec and don't speak French. I don't want to pay this province any more tax money than it is leeching off me already.

So any suggestions? I'm in Montreal right now. I would like to go to a resort or to a city, within Canada, and within driving distance of Montreal where 4 guys can have fun in an SUV. Any ideas?
