Looking for a SATA to IDE converter
I am looking for a simple adapter that will allow me to plug a SATA drive into an IDE controller. It can also be a full-fledged external enclosure, but ideally i'ld rather stick with an adapter. has anyone seen one?

i should have been more specific. an adapter and/or chasis is more flexible for my needs as I will be transferring data from a wide range of machines and do not have the luxury of using a stationed PC which I can permanently install an adapter card in.
