Looking for sim for exchange student (3 months only)

Hi - we're going to be hosting a secondary school student from Germany starting at the end of August, and her parents have asked us to pick up a sim card for her phone so that she can use her phone here. We're in the BC Interior - any tips on what would be a good & inexpensive temporary plan? I think the data's the tricky part here, would assume she's used to lots of data, might have to disappoint her there.
Thanks for any tips!

We have a German university student living with us for 8 weeks. She is very happy with Public Mobile. WhatsApp works great for her to connect to home. She is on the $40 5GB plan

Thank you everyone, have got a Public Mobile sim and the $40/month plan (currently $30/month with the RBC deal!). Will have to see how well it works, thinking of switching myself.

I would recommend lucky mobile as it has throttled unlimited data. Enough for them to stream music/google maps/whatsapp after they use up their data.
Similarly priced to public mobile.
