Looking for a store that sells piano strings

Hi, I didn't know where else to post this since I'm not really looking for a deal, but rather any place that can sell me piano strings.

Like the title says, I'm looking for somewhere or someone that can sell me piano strings. I need the piano strings for a project I'm doing for school. I checked Long and McQuade and they don't have piano strings, they refered to a piano repair person buy that person also said he doesn't sell piano strings themselves. I'm now lost and have no idea where to look.

I know I can get Guitar strings from Long and McQuade but they are quite different from piano strings.

As for what type of piano strings, I'm just looking for a couple of strings to make a replica of a piano.

Try looking in the Yellowbook for Piano specific stores maybe...

Call up some more music or piano restoration/repair stores ... you'll find something.

ok, thanks. Lots of the places I've found were sadly quite far. Anyone know if there is a difference between piano strings and guitar strings?
