Looking for updated Wagyu/Kobe Beef info in GTA!
Hello,
Due to a co-worker also wanting the x'mas seasons off, my trip to Japan this year has to be postpone to next July and man do I miss my Kobe beefs.
So I started doing some research and was so surprised that I never found out about Harbour Sixty and Jacobs & Co. serving Wagyu Beef. Jacobs price seems low to me: Kobe Classic Beef Wagyu - Alberta, Canada, Aged 52 days, Hanging Tender 9oz $41. The Harbour Sixty price of $20/oz seems like it's the real thing.
I'm looking for updated places that either sell raw Wagyu/Kobe Beef and or steakhouse that serves them as well.
ebutchers.ca is closed, so whatever they sold, I have no clue now.
Also, if anyone has personal experience, it'll be much appreciated.

Bruno's has Wagyu beef. I don't think Kobe beef ever leaves Japan, just too precious. I asked about it at the Richmond Hill store (but I know the Avenue Road one has it too) during Thanksgiving when I picked up a Prime Rib Roast. He said they sell it for about $75/lb. So that's less than $5/oz. Jacobs does seem on the low side, but Hanging Tender may be a lower price as it isn't the best cut of meat, plus they probably get a better price than what we can at the butcher.
