Lotto 6/49 winning numbers frequency chart

Good luck to all that bought tickets for tonight $43 million draw.

I created a Frequency Chart of all the winning numbers to ever occur for Lotto649. Number 31 occurred is the most. Number 15 occurred the least.

Should I pick the infrequent numbers because they are due to come up next, or the frequent ones because they have a history of appearing more?

What's wrong with number 15?

It's as good as 14 and 16.

Number 7 is the worst, because 7 8 9.

/facepalm

Past drawn numbers have NO bearing on future drawn numbers.

In other words the stats are purely for amusement. Knowing them will not increase your chance of winning.

I don't understand people that carefully choose their numbers. I just quick pick all of them. Except for the 1st play I do 4 8 15 16 23 42 just for jokes (you won't understand unless you watch LOST)

I bet you there are a handful of people that pick those numbers every time

Banning proper use in a forum such as this simply perpetuates the problem by reinforcing the perspective that all uses of a word are negative.

this chart is as useful as a blind monkey with a glue stick.

no bearing on anything, this is why lotteries exist, because people believe they know a system. I only play to dream, you can't win if you don't play.

only thing i can say for sure is that if you pick the 6 rarest numbers and they DO win, i bet theres 100 other people that picked the same numbers, same goes for 6 most frequent. your best chances are picking 6 numbers no1 else usually picks. For example stay away from birthday numbers and consecutive numbers.

This chart is useless no matter how true it is for exactly this reason.

It's the way the balls fall, if the balls fall a different way tonight that chart is as useful as a penguin's wings.

well it IS random, BUT there are certain combinations that would make you less likely to win more if you win. Example, whatever you do, don't pick 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 though, because apparently, I read somewhere that it's a really common combination. So if you win the jackpot with 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, you'd probably kill yourself because you end up getting like $1000 only due to the large number of winners.
(reasoning is probably people just pick a whole row of numbers cuz their too lazy to pick numbers but are too stupid to use quick pick :D )
Reminds me the other time so many people won the jackpot and the split for 2nd prize was greater than winning the jackpot. Those people must have been pissed.

You are absolutely right. My uncle played "000" in Pick 3 and it was the worse pay off in history, only about $110 dollars when it should had been between $500 and $900.

Also avoid playing 911, 407, 401 and 416, you can't imagine how many nerds are playing those numbers in Pick 3 here in the GTA.
