Low-usage cell plan in on BC Rogers network

My Koodo plan is a great fit for my needs. 2 lines at $33 for 300 MB and 300 minutes Canada-wide, plus evenings and weekends. About three times per year I go over by 100MB, and pay $5 for it. I think this is awesomely cheap.

Unfortunately, the Telus network has zero coverage in my work building at UVic -- I actually have to completely exit the building and stand in the rain to make a call or send a text. My colleague at the next desk has 4 bars on her Fido phone.

Is there anything that comes close to my current plan, but on the Rogers network?

Do you have wifi in your building? Maybe using a VOIP app like Fongo would be better than switching plans, if you're otherwise happy with your current one.
18% = GTA residents as a proportion of Canada's total population
97% = chance that an RFDer lives in the GTA when he posts something location specific, without giving a location

Were you hit with surprise customs/import fees on an Amazon.ca purchase?

A couple of suggestions if VoIP/Fongo doesn't do it:
1. Check if your plan includes Extended coverage. If it does, make sure you have roaming enabled on your phone. This will let you use Robbers/Bhell cell towers in areas where Telus sucks. You may need to call Koodo for more information.
2. Call Fido, tell them what you're paying with Koodo, and ask them what they can do for you to convince you to switch.
