That must be east Costco locations. The west Costcos don't seem to carry Lump charcoal for some reason.

If you buy it online they take off the discount per item, $14.99 each, no need to buy in multiples of 2. Free ISPU, or free shipping over $49, and $10 off $50 coupon if you sign up for their email. And 1% cash back at eB, 2% at GCR.

I just saw it at Costco for $13 as well
I've only seen the Dragons Breath at Laird location this year. If you don't mind sharing the where you saw the Sugar Maple.

Thanks

No free shipping on this product for me sadly. The parcel ship option is greyed out.

truck delivery for $80 :)))
I didn't like this charcoal list time - huge chunks of barely burned wood

Wouldn't that add to the smoke flavour?

It would also burn your food as you would have flame cooking not hot coals.

Can't even choose in-store pickup on the West Coast. My Big Green Egg is still sitting in the box from the Costco deal from years ago..

I'm guessing this is not as much of a problem in a kamodo style cooker, since air intake is controlled, and especially if you use a ceramic stone between food and heat source.

Storing in the basement should be fine - they are not the briquettes with built-in starter fluid which might degas.

For those that have purchased this charcoal and have used the Costco green and white bags of Basque - which one is better?
