For anyone still looking for one, there are 4 new ones left at the Yorkdale Home Depot location as of 5pm today. I managed to price match Lowes with 10% price beat. Came out to $100 and change. There were 2 at the Markham North HD location as of 11am today, but they are both open box.

Did you do a factory reset after it failed and you attempted to reconnect back to the thermostat to set it up? I'm using a Xiaomi Note 3 Pro with Nitrogen OS (Android 8.0) and have had no issues setting up the thermostat.

Thank you OP. I ordered online and used the save10 code. Had to add a filler item (Utility knife for $1.09). This is a better option for me than the one that requires a home visit. I'm not too big on letting strangers in to chat about energy savings and tinkering with my HVAC.

So I went today to Home depot to get the $10 Ontario rebate and was denied saying they had already given me $10 off (due to price match) and wont give another $10.... I didn't argue over $10 but might return it and get another from Home depot. Also for other RFD'ers, HD has now reduced rice of this to $99 (same as lowes, so no need of price matching)

my cumpare bought one and his house does not have a finished basement. I told him to upgrade the wiring to 5+ pins. Is it okay to run a CAT 5E network cable??? all it is is just telling the controller to do XYZ right???

I'm also interested in the circulate feature. Has anyone been able to confirm if it does turn on the fan intermittently?
